We are a bonded, licensed and insured professional cleaning business, which is owned and managed by women. We currently service Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area customers. 

We are a women owned and small family run business. We are originally from Malawi (the Warm Heart of Africa). We believe in the "American Dream," as we have been afforded the opportunity to actualise some of our family goals through personal commitment, dedication and hard work. We enjoy contributing to the Washington D.C. community including providing Cleaning and Airbnb Services. Also providing Self-Employment work opportunities for Independent Contractors.

Our life vision and purpose and motivating factor for why we do what we do, is to be able to contribute more to good sustainable causes, especially those associated with women and young girls in the U.S. and Malawi.

We are committed to providing you with high quality, responsive and timely professional Airbnb, Apartment and Moving In/Out Cleaning Services. We appreciate how cleaning tasks can sometimes feel like a burden, especially when you are limited of time, exhausted and have to manage other personal lifestyle and professional matters. Our aim is to help to take a break from some of your cleaning tasks, so that you have more time to focus on leisurely activities and essential tasks. 


We help different types of customers such as busy Working Professionals, Airbnb and Apartment Owners, Realtors, Business Owners, Stay At Home Parents and Business/Leisure Travellers who need assistance with cleaning tasks. We also help with moving in/out cleaning tasks.

We love contributing business services to our thriving Washington D.C. City and diverse community. It brings us joy to be able to help and connect with people from varying cultural, social and professional backgrounds. We consider ourselves cultural and socially as global citizens, due to our personal, social and professional backgrounds. Therefore, we are equally happy to provide personalised cleaning services according to your requirements, regardless of your personal background.

We provide cleaning services following an initial brief online chat with you (via text, phone call or email). You can also send us a written description of your cleaning services requirements via New Job Request Here. So that we are well informed in advance of your cleaning requirements. We are also happy to visit your home for an initial assessment, should you require a more detailed cleaning service.

In the absence of not being able to meet you in person, we can also meet with you, via a video call for an initial introduction and walk through session of your cleaning requirements. Some of our customers also send us a descriptive profile with pictures of rooms, they want us clean, when we are not able to meet in person via email.

Our standard cleaning services start from a minimum of 2 hours for a 1-2 bedroom Apartment. For deep initial deep cleaning services, we recommend anywhere from 3-6 hours (depending on the size of your home and deep cleaning requirements).  


  • Deep Cleaning Services (e.g. blinds, lamp shades, white goods, removal of dust, dirt and pet hairs) 
  • Sanitization and Disinfection Services
  • Cleaning inside the Fridge & Microwave  
  • Tidying of Clothes and sorting items inside Kitchen Cabinets  
  • Pre and Post Move Services  


We offer discounts for first customers, especially if you are seeking regular and fixed term cleaning services; such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning services over a prolonged period. We also offer long term contracted cleaning services over 3,6, 12 months period for instance for block contracts for Serviced Units and Airbnb Apartments.


As a small family business, we take pride in the cleaning services we provide, so that you are left feeling a bit more happier and relaxed. Our aim is to help you ease some of your cleaning tasks, so that you have more time to focus on personal and professional tasks. Our sole purpose it to provide high quality, timely and responsive cleaning services.

Rose is the C.E.O and founder of Sea Cleaning Services which was founded in 2016.

Rose has extensive experience in the establishing and managing businesses, such as a Laundromat, Dry Cleaners, Cleaning Business, Airbnb, and Property Development/Management. 

These experiences coupled with her professional work experience has provided her with good customer service delivery foundation.

Rose is the visionary behind actualizing the American Dream for herself and her family. As a young girl in a rural village in Malawi, she dreamt about being able to live in Washington D.C.

She achieved her dream over 30 years ago, as a single parent of four children. Alongside single handedly raising her children in Virginia and Maryland, she worked full-time for an International Organisation (Corporate Sector), whilst financially supporting some of her family members in Malawi and managing her own Laundromat/Dry Cleaners Business in Washington D.C.

She decided to retire from her full-time career in exchange for a flexible lifestyle, which could enable her to focus on developing her own independent Cleaning Services and Airbnb Business. Focusing on her own business has not only enabled Rose the opportunity to spend more time with her family and to travel, but also to have more dedicated time to provide high quality customer cleaning services.


We work in partnership with experienced Self-Employed Cleaners and Independent Contractors (vetted and licensed cleaning professionals). We pay our contractors above minimum wage.

All our Independent Contractors are vetted as part our recruitment process. They carry their own cleaning supplies and equipment.

As a growing company, one of our business goals is to progressively increase the hourly rate of our workers as part of our contribution to adding more meaningful social and community value in Washington D.C.

We value the role of frontline workers and believe that they should be equally be valued, rewarded and remunerated for their best efforts. So that in turn, they can be able to maintain their overall well-being.

Cleaning is not a hard task for us, it is a passion and something we enjoy doing. We appreciate how hectic life can become for most of our customers, including the challenges of having to manage a household; whether it be your own home, Airbnb, or Serviced Units (that you are managing on behalf of your clients).
